Xperia Z1 Launch Teaser: Power Button Touted by Sony via Twitter and Facebook
Sony's most secret weapon - the Xperia Z1 is out, sort of. The Japanese giant has gone ahead and tweeted an image featuring power button accompanied by the hashtag #bestofSony. The company simultaneously posted the same update on its official Facebook page. The tweet reads "It's the smartphone everyone's been talking about... not long now #bestofSony ". Reportedly, Sony will announce Xperia Z1 or Honami i1 on September 4 at IFA Berlin.
We have already seen alleged leaked pictures and specifications of Xperia Z1 in the past few months. Industry insiders suggest the Sony Xperia Z1 is a mighty successor to Xperia Z with revamped processor and a 20.7 -mega pixel camera.

Few days back, we reported that the Xperia Z1 will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The Chinese variant of the device (Sony L39h) scored a whooping 30,625 score, better than LG G2.
The Honami i1 will have a 5-inch TRILUMINOUS Display with X-Reality technology having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal memory (expandable up to 64GB via microSD card). Moreover, the phone will be stuffed with a 20.7-mega pixel rear facing camera with "G lens "dedicated BIONZ image processor.
On the front, there is a 2-mega pixel camera for long video chat. Further, Sony's forthcoming device to sport 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM ( expandable), NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, IPX5/7 certification, and Miracast , among others. There is a possibility to see Android 4.3 Jelly Bean from day one.
The Sony Honami i1 device was spotted at the FCC, according to a report. The phone will be announced before September 30 and its retail availability is pegged for October first week. At the same time, rumors also say that Sony is working on Honami i1 Mini.
Honami i1 Mini: Another Handset In Works
According to Esato forums, Sony Honami mini will pack a 4.3 inch Triluminos display which is also incorporated in Xperia Z Ultra. The resolution output will rate at 720 x 1280 pixels. Further, the leak also suggests that the mini version of Honami i1 will be powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable storage). The makers have decided to go for 2400mAh Li Ion battery. Interestingly, the phone will be stuffed with a 20.7MP camera present in mini Honami with the same Sony G lens, f/2.0 aperture and the same 1/2.3″ sensor.
