Latest 'Big Screen' Apple iPod
Apple keeps getting better. It is ready to launch the 'big screen'' version of its popular iPod touch device to enable the users ease while watching moveis or surfing.

Apple has developed the new iPod touch device with a 7- or 9-inch display, as reported by Michael Arrington of TechCrunch from the popular technology industry blog.

The new improved version of the Apple ipod will allow the users to listen to music, watch films and surf the Internet on a bigger screen than the regular 3.5in display. The Apple's manufacturers' in Asia have already been shown the prototypes of the device, as told to the blog.

However, TechCrunch claims that Apple has been experimenting internally with large form tablet devices for year. "But there was concern that users wouldn"t like the device," said Arrington, who now argues the time is right for such a gadget. "

According to Arrington, the launch will be due n part to the success of the iTunes App Store, which is an online marketplace that allows people to download games and software for their iPhone or iPod touch. He also stated that the new large screen of the iPod will make it 'one heck of a device".

The analyst believe that the latest iPod will compete directly with manufacturers of ultra-portable laptops, such as Acer and is a highly welcomed invention for the market. The larger iPod touch is due to release later this year according to Arrington"s sources.
