Apple iTunes 11 to Release in next few days, Music firm Indicates
iTunes 11 might have its launch in the offing within the next few days in accordance with an email sent out to various musicians by a music firm. German music distribution firm, Feiyr, send an email to various artists in order to ask their album artwork to be updated so that they are compatible with the latest, yet-to-be released iTunes 11.
It is also mentioned in the mail that the launch will happen in a few days. The launch of the product initially scheduled for last month got delayed and it is expected to be launched at the end of this month.
Even though the email states the imminent release of iTunes 11 like a fact, no mention of Apple is found anywhere in the mail. It is also not clear whether Feiyr received any direct intimation from Apple regarding the launch of iTunes 11. The email’s purpose was to inform the musicians and record labels to submit their or their artists’ photo albums or galleries to iTunes so that the new Music Store will be updated.
Even though the information does not come from Apple, it is highly probable that the music firm was notified by Apple before the forthcoming launch in order to update the new iTunes 11 Store layout by updating it with gallery content from musicians and labels. Owing to this being the Thanksgiving weekend, the launch can be expected early next week, unless Apple decides to spring a Thanksgiving surprise.
iTunes 11 is expected to have improved iCloud integration, support with iOS 6 and all latest iOS devices and a UI refresh with better images and navigation.
