iMainGo XP speakers for iPad
There are two main ways to enjoy music with you tablet pc. While traveling either you can plug in a pair of headphones and enjoy them or you can enjoy the sound via integrated speakers. The problem with the inbuilt speakers is the relatively low volume. Since these speakers are integrated the power will be very much limited.
This calls in for another option. Connect an external portable speaker system .There are a lot of such devices available out there in the market, especially for a tablet like Apple’s iPad. The main challenge with the external speakers is the need of an additional space to place them. This can be an issue while traveling. These drawbacks are now rectified by iMainGo. The company has offered iMainGo XP which is a simple yet efficient means to satisfy the user’s audio needs on the move.
Features of iMainGo XP are:
- Built in 4- speaker system
- Offers protection for device
- Simple set up
- Additional audio jack
iMainGo XP doubles up as a protective case for the device as well as a portable speaker system. It works well with the iPad and iPad 2.The device mainly looks like a protective casing. The speakers are built into this casing. iPad fits very easily into the case. This makes the overall set up very compact and also eliminates the need for extra space for additional speakers.
The case comes with an additional stand also. So if you want, you can prop up the device with the iPad in it vertically on a desk top making it a perfect entertainment device. It also consists of a wall charger and two 3.5 mm audio jacks. One jack can be used to attach the iPad to the case and the additional spare one can be used to connect additional devices like a headphone. This spare jack is a very notable feature in the device since it provides additional provision for music sharing.
The gadget has to be charged for about 8-10 hours to ensure full charging of batteries. But many users claim to have got full charge just after a couple of hours. After a full charge, the battery will be able to provide power continuously for about 6 hours. The overall working of the device is very impressive and the speakers offer good sound quality.
iMainGo XP has a price tag of around Rs.6,000/- in India.
