Trust Elton Jhon when it comes to style. The singer reportedly has launched a limited production of crystal-encrusted iPods to raise funds for AIDS charity.

The limited edition of 1,000 music palyers was personally supervised by the legend and also holds the legend's signature lasered at the back. Each of theses gadgets are prized at 584 dollars and the profits would go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

"Elton does not usually put his name to a product but this is exactly the kind of thing he loves. It's extravagant and glamorous just like him," Contactmusic quoted a spokesman for the star as saying. He added: "And, as everyone knows, his AIDS charity is very close to his heart."

The Elton John foundation for AIDS has already raised 145 million dollars to educate and care for people suffering from the deadly disease.
