PDP Afterglow gaming controller and wireless headset
We have seen a couple of companies like MadCatz and Turtle Beach who came up with a wide variety of gaming accessories recently at the E3 show. The journey is not yet over as PDP shows off their latest Afterglow gaming controllers and wireless headsets for meeting the needs of gaming scenarios. These accessories are particularly meant for PS3, Xbox 360 and also for Wii.
We have come across a line of Afterglow gaming controllers from the company before also. The notable difference with the new refreshed model is that instead of clear interior-lit controllers, some portion of the new peripherals is black. Apart from the Afterglow’s recharged version users can come across a wireless gaming headset on the outfit.
PDP gives a choice between black and white colours and red, blue or green interiors. The set of cans is really user friendly and offers good comfort with a cozy fit. The extra padding which is seen around the ear cups make it comfortable to use it for longer gaming sessions.
The sound quality delivered by these headsets is quite impressive. One of the good factors to be mentioned is the availability of three sound modes offering some customization options. Users can choose their convenient mode from the options of bass boost, pure audio, and also 3D expander pre-sets.
The LED which is placed on the tip of product’s mic will let users know about the status like which of the selection is now in progress. The controls of the device are quite impressive and in-game adjustments can be easily done from the left side of the accessory.
Talking about the life of battery, on a single charge you can enjoy about 10 hours of gaming. There will be an auxiliary jack for supporting your mobile devices and the connection to the console can be made through a USB dongle.
PDP Afterglow gaming controller and wireless headset is expected to arrive in the gaming market by this September. The headset which is best in coordination with Wii, PS3, Xbox, and also PC can be purchased by spending a price of around Rs. 4,500/-.
