New XtremeMac Tango TRX
The iPod and iPhone will forever be remembered as the proof of Apple founder Steve Jobs' understanding of user needs. With the iPod, personal music was no longer restricted to mobile MP3 CD players. Competitors such as Microsoft have failed to successfully compete against this wonder device. The iPhone 4 took the innovation further, combining smartphone brilliance with amazing music and entertainment options. With Internet streaming, the massive online reservoir of music could be exploited.

As the iPod and iPhone 4 transformed personal entertainment, more devices were introduced by other manufacturers to accentuate the experience. XtremeMac has now launched Tango TRX, a speaker system and dock for an iPod or iPhone. Other options include the addition of Bluetooth audio streaming as well as the addition of a stereo mini-jack auxiliary input.

The name "xtrememac tango trx" may sound exciting, but the design is minimalist. However the design offers certain advantages such as the location of the dock on one portion of the device with the LEDs and the knob on the other side. The knob is attractively rimmed with orange. On the foot portion you'll find the buttons for song navigation, volume control, Bluetooth pairing and source select. At the top, on the right side above the speaker cloth you'll find the on/off button and the bass/treble/volume assignment.

Tango TRX has been tested with iPhone 4 and the reports are positive with sound appearing relatively soft and dull with the bass straightforward. Treble controls enabled some tweaks, with the only issue being the slight bass-heavy nature of Tango TRX thanks to the subwoofer that was firing downwards.

The buttons you find on the device are all present on the remote control as well. XtremeMac also offers an iOS app that helps you use the Tango even when the iPhone is streaming the audio through the Bluetooth. Other welcome features include a 5-band equalizer that can be preset according to your specifications for the different genres.

xtrememac tango trx is truly a versatile device, emphasized by the fact that it can also be used as a speakerphone. Overall, xtrememac tango trx can be considered a good product with the regular features, smart location of the buttons, the remote app that comes for free and adds equalizer controls, the iOS app for total control of the Tango, and the speakerphone making it a compelling piece of kit.

Many users may like the neutral sound and it has quality. The bass-heavy nature isn't a major issue and xtrememac tango trx is well-built as well. The price in India for XtremeMac Tango TRX is around Rs 12,000.
