Nikon D7500 Unique Features

Powered by the new EXPEED 5 image processor, the D7500 can shoot a burst of 50 raw files before the buffer needs to clear, which is quite an improvement over the D7200’s 18 raw files at 6fps. As expected the metering system performs very well, consistently delivering spot-on exposures, while the Auto White Balance does a solid job too. There's a new battery as well – the EN-EL15a is good for 950 shots before it needs charging. That's streets ahead of most mirrorless cameras.

Nikon D7500 Details

The Nikon D7500 is launched in India. It is a midrange APS-C(Crop frame) single-lens reflex digital camera that includes a 20.9MP sensor, high-resolution metering sensor (used for subject recognition) and EXPEED 5 image processor. The camera comes with dimension as: 5.4 x 4.1 x 2.9 in.(W x H x D), and weighs 720g(Including battery and memory card). The device flaunts a 3.2-inch tilting touchscreen LCD.

With its 51-point autofocus system and a continuous shooting speed of approximately 8 frames per second, this camera looks great for fast-paced shooting. The D7500 records up to 4K UHD/30p videos in stunning detail, so you can take your passion to the next level. It also allows to shoot seamlessly and share on the go with SnapBridge, an app that automatically transfers your images to your smart device via Wi-Fi. There is also built in Bluetooth. It features new Auto Picture Control mode that automatically adjusts colour, sharpness, and clarity, without the need for retouching. For added versatility, the multiple exposure function lets you combine up to 10 images and save all single frames alongside the composite image.

The D7500 is also the first Nikon DSLR to offer in-camera RAW batch processing, a function that processes images in large quantities and maintains the individual parameters for each photo. The ISO is expandable up to 51,200, reducing motion blur to the zero level caused by slow shutter speeds, which is common especially under low light condition. Thus, giving splendid shots with no noise. It has optical viewfinder of type Eye-level pentaprism single-lens reflex viewfinder, which allows approx.100% coverage area. The camera comes with 18-105mm VR lens kit by default. The mid-range Nikon D7500 is priced at Rs. 89,990 in the Indian market.
