The CEA has put the CES 2012 as usual in Las Vegas and this year, it has reached the largest number of exhibitors making it create a new record. This is a clear evidence that explains that the industry is rebinding after recession.
This is the largest technology show in America and in fact in the whole world. It opened yesterday and it is expected to draw over 140,000 attendees from across the world.
The CEA says that the show has over 3,100 exhibitors this year which is a significant raise than the pre-estimate that was 2,800 plus. Usually, the show will have 2,700 exhibitors approximately but in 2012 it experienced a large dip going down to 2,500 only.
The record in the number of exhibitors of CES shows that the show is giving importance to the smaller exhibitors also. Anyhow, from the next year, the big player will not exhibit at CES as this show is Microsoft's last CES.
