Exclusive: Apple’s 5th Store in India Is Coming to DLF Mall of India in Noida
We earlier reported that Apple is planning its fifth retail store in India, and this time the focus has quietly shifted to Noida after openings in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and most recently Pune. There’s still no official confirmation, but going by how Apple picks its spots, and knowing the kind of footfall DLF Mall of India in Noida pulls every single day, it wasn’t hard to guess that the brand would eventually plant its next big retail flag here. So, to double-check that theory, I went to the mall this evening — and long story short, the hunch turned out to be correct.
Update (Originally reported on 27th November at 22:47): Apple has confirmed that the Noida store at DLF Mall of India will open to the public on December 11.
The Only Renovation in the Mall That Refuses to Reveal Itself
Anyone familiar with the mall knows the ground floor is premium turf. And just there, sat one massive, unusually wide construction zone, completely wrapped, completely anonymous, and completely too-perfect to ignore. The hoarding simply said, “We’re on the move, new adventures await at our new spot!” with no logo, no brand, just a lady in the middle holding a couple of shopping bags. So, naturally, I had my doubts. But because this felt a little too convenient, I did a full loop of the mall to compare.

Everywhere else — every other upcoming store or renovation had a logo, a tagline, or at least a hint of what was coming up. For example, Theos, which is shifting to a bigger space, had its branding plastered across the front. This one ground-floor wrap was the only exception.
Naturally, that raised more questions, so I asked around and got the hint of what we were already expecting: the next step in Apple’s retail expansion is being built right there, in plain sight, behind that giant wrapout. From the upper levels, the layout is still a mystery, but the way the frontage is shaped, it almost certainly points to a walk-in, open-door store, reminiscent of Apple Saket’s welcoming entrance. Honestly, this feels like the most sensible location for Apple in Noida. I've needed more than 20 minutes just to get into the parking lot on regular evenings, which should tell you everything about the kind of crowd this mall draws. The location checks out, and if you’ve seen Apple play this game before in Mumbai or Delhi, you’ll recognise the breadcrumb trail immediately.

But What Does a Dedicated Apple Store in Your City Mean
It means the whole experience of owning an Apple device becomes a lot more straightforward. You walk into a place where everything — from buying a new iPhone to getting your old one valued or repaired — follows the same standard, the same clarity, the same process you’d expect in any major Apple Store around the world. Beyond all that, there's Genius Bar and Today at Apple sessions too.

When you trade in a phone, the evaluation happens right in front of you, exactly the way it should. When you need support, you’re guided through a proper diagnostic instead of being handed vague explanations. Even simple things like trying out Watch bands, checking colour options, or switching between iPad models become easier because the entire ecosystem is right there. And, this is something I very recently experienced myself when I visited the Apple Saket store.
