    LG announced its flagship Android phone, the Optimus L7 at the Mobile World Congress 2012 held in Barcelona. The handset is to follow the Samsung Galaxy S3 as it runs the Android 4.0 ICS operating system out of the box. LG has now confirmed that the handset will be launched in UK this month.

    The Optimus L7 has a 4.3 inch WVGA display with ultra wide viewing angles. It lets the users to enjoy the impressive display from any director. It has a Cortex A5 processor of 1 GHz under the hood. There is a 5 MP camera at the rear along with LED flash that helps in capturing good snaps.

    The Optimus L7 is a smartphone for those consumers who desire high end, stylish and sophisticated smartphones. It offers both performance and beauty in a single package. It is a significant addition to the L series product portfolio of the company. It is expected to attract a wide range of users.

    The unveiling of the Optimus L7 will definitely be overshadowed by the Samsung Galaxy S3 that was launched a couple of days back. The price of the smartphone is still not announced. The handset will be launched in Europe in May and in the global markets later.
