Idea Aurus

Idea Cellular, an Indian telecom operator has come up with a new 3G dual SIM smartphone based on Android dubbed as Aurus, which is priced competitively at Rs 7,190.

According to Idea Cellular, Aurus smartphone packs a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixel resolution. Also, the handset is equipped with a MediaTek MT6573 processor, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM, micro SD card supporting up to 32GB expandable memory, 5MP rear camera and 0.3MP front facing camera for video calling.

Based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the handset is packed with features like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n, Bluetooth, 3G, EDGE and GPRS. Aurus is powered by a 1,300 mAh Li-ion battery.
