Nokia Asha 308 and Asha 309

Nokia the Finnish handset manufacturer has unveiled a couple of smartphones under its Asha product lineup – Asha 308 and Asha 309. However, the company has not revealed any specific release date for the handsets. Moreover, Nokia has kept the prices of both the handsets at a competitive price of sub Rs 6,000 price tag.

Asha 308 is a dual SIM variant while Asha 309 is a single SIM and Wi-Fi variant of the handset.

Asha 308 and Asha 309 handsets have a 3 inch capacitive multipoint touchscreen display with 400 x 240 pixel resolution, 800MHz processor, 2MP rear camera with fixed focus, 64MB internal memory, 128MB mass memory and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB expandable memory.

In terms of connectivity, the both the handsets pack features like Bluetooth and micro USB 2.0. As mentioned above, Asha 309 will have Wi-Fi feature as well.

Further, the handsets are powered by a 1,110 mAh BL-4U battery.

Like any other Asha series handset, he new Asha 308 and Asha 309 smartphones come with free goodies inlcuding 40 premium EA games, social features such as Facebook and Twitter, Nokia Messaging Service and video streaming through the browser from sites like YouTube.
