Sony Xperia Tipo and Tipo Dual

Sony unveiled Xperia Tipo and Tipo Dual – two entry level Android smartphone in June. The single SIM variant Tipo is priced attractively at Rs 9,999 while its dual SIM variant – the Tipo Dual is priced at Rs 10,449. Both the handsets with similar specifications expect for the single and dual SIM difference.

Coming to the specs, Tipo and Tipo Dual house a 3.2 inch scratch-resistant capacitive touchscreen display with 480 x 320 pixel resolution. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the handsets are equipped with an 800MHz single core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.2MP rear camera, 2GB internal storage, 512MB RAM and micro SD card supporting up to 32GB expandable memory.

Further, the handsets are packed with connectivity features such as Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 3G with 7.2Mbps HSDPA, and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA, Wi-Fi features and micro USB 2.0. Also, they are loaded with a 1,500 mAh Li-ion battery with decent battery backup.
