Painting Delhi with #MyDilliStory: Govt holds Twitter contest
Celebrating the metropolis of Delhi, the AAP government will organise a 3-week long Twitter-based competition inviting people to share their stories, poems and quotes about the capital, the best of which would be painted on flyovers across the city.
According to government, 'My Dilli Story' competition will kick off from tomorrow inviting people to share their stories, poems and quotes to celebrate Delhi in Twitter with the hashtag #MyDilliStory.

"The competition will activate public spaces with stories, poetry about love and about the city.It will encourage the use of Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu, three key languages of Delhi," Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra said.
An official of the department said, "What is your Delhi Story? What about the city inspires you? This is the question the Delhi Government asks its citizens with responses in 140 characters with the project #MyDilliStory." Forty best tweets, selected by jury, would be painted on forty public flyovers, walls and subways with due permissions from the Public Works Department.

"Forty of the tweets will be selected by a jury and hand-painted on prominent public walls across the capital by the city's signboard painters," the official said. Participants can scribble their "Dilli stories" in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi or English languages.
