Leading telecom service provider in India, Vodafone has launched new unlimited data packages for customers visiting Saudi Arabia and Japan. The customer friendly packages are aimed at customers who avail the data services of the company while traveling abroad. The company mentioned in a statement that the new offer will promote the use of its data services on global networks.

Vodafone representatives have informed that the unlimited international roaming data packages will be available in three different plans. The first plan will be available for rental cost of Rs. 1,499. This package will be valid for 3 days. The second plan which arrives at a rental cost of Rs. 2,499 will have a validity of 5 days. The third plan with a validity of 7 days will be available for users at a rental cost of Rs. 3,499.

The company has informed that the data benefits are offered in partnership with Mobility’s network in Saudi Arabia and Softbank’s network in Japan. Subscribers using any other network in these countries will be charged at data roaming charges of Rs. 5.50 per 10 KB.

How to Activate?

Interested consumers can activate the package by sending an SMS to the toll free number 111 from Vodafone India’s home network. Customers visiting Japan can activate the package by sending a message with content as ‘ACTULJPN3/5/7 to the toll free number.

Vodafone users planning to avail the service in Saudi Arabia should activate the plan by sending a message with content as ‘ACTULSA3/5/7. The 3/5/7 section points to the validity and customer should enter only the validity option of their choice in the message. For example, customer opting for the 5 day plan in Japan should type ‘ACTULJPN5.The rental charge of the chosen plan will feature in the billing cycle.
