What to Expect from Google Android Event on Oct 29: Android Sweet Treat, A New Smartphone and More
Android 4.2

It has been only four months since the launch of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, hence, Google might not come up with Key Lime Pie so soon. It could be following the same strategy that was used for Eclair with Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 version numbers. This way, there are chances for Google to launch an upgrade to Jelly Bean or the new version Key Lime Pie as Android 4.2.
Android 4.2 is rumored to have features including proper Google services integration, a proper UI overhaul, new approach to multi-tasking and multimedia codec plug-in support.
