Apple Announces watchOS 2 for Apple Watch with New Features and Native Third-party Apps

Following the launch of iOS 9, Apple Watch software also got update in WWDC 2015. Dubbed as watchOS, this update adds new watch face including Photo Album face and Time-Lapse face.

This update comes with Night stand mode, which shows charge, time, alarm while charging at night and also users can use multiple colors in Digital Touch drawings.

Now in this Apple Watch, developers can access the microphone right on the watch and play audio out of the speaker. Also, developers can now access HealthKit, including real-time heart rate, Ditto accelerometer and the tactic engine.

Further, users can send email from Apple Watch and also Maps on the watch comes with Transit direction, where Siri can get you the directions.
