Samsung announced the Galaxy Ace Duos smartphone for the global market in May. But, the brand is yet to start the sales of the smartphone. However, the online retailers have started selling the device for a price in India of Rs 12,900 before the retail availability. The actual price of the device is Rs 15,050 but it is available at 14% discount.

Infibeam, a popular online retailer is providing the Galaxy Ace Duos S6802 exclusively for the Indian consumers. This handset is the upgraded version of the earlier device, Galaxy Ace Duos i59 which is available across the world.

The upgraded version of the Ace Duos has dual GSM radios for improved cellular connectivity when compared to the GSM + CDMA radio combo that is present on the older version, Duos i589. The Galaxy Ace Duos S6802 sports a 3.5 inch display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It is powered by an 833 MHz processor and runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

The handset has a 5 MP camera at the back that enables users to capture and share stunning images and videos. The Android Gingerbread operating system is topped with the Samsung's TouchWiz user interface. This lets the users to navigate through the handset fluidly and easily. The handset has a 3 GB internal storage capacity as well.
