LG Optimus L9 up for Pre Order on Flipkart at Rs 19,990: Will You Buy It?

LG the proud manufacturer of Nexus 4, which is awaited eagerly by Android fans in India launched Optimus L9 in the country last week.

At the time of launch, LG priced the handset at Rs 22,000 and now Optimus L9 is available for pre-order on online retailer Flipkart for Rs 19,990. Moreover, the listing claims the estimated release date to fall in the first week of December.

When it comes to specs, Optimus L9 packs a 4.7 inch qHD IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, dual-core 1GHz processor, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system topped with Optimus 3.0 UI, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera for video calling, 4GB internal memory, 1GB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage.

Further, the handset has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, micro USB 2.0 and 2,150 mAh Li-ion battery delivering up to 11.5 hours talk time and 798 hours standby.

Detailing on the software features, Optimus L9 has QTranslator, MyStyle Keypad, QMemo function and Cheese Shutter features to enhance the user experience.

Given that the latest LG offering is available for purchase at Rs 19,990, it will surely be a tough competitor for the latest smartphone range present in the market with almost same specs and higher price range including Sony Xperia U, Sony Xperia Sola, Samsung Galaxy S Advance, HTC Desire SV and Windows Phone based Nokia Lumia 800.
