The world’s largest networking site for professionals, LinkedIn has unveiled a brand new design for profile pages. Announced on the official blog of LinkedIn on October 16, the new feature looks more professional and elegant.
According to Aaron Bronzan of LinkedIn, the new design would help around 175 million users to enjoy a much more refreshing and professional page with more features to help them convey their professional stories and build stronger formal networks.
The page will have a new visual design where in users can present skills and accomplishments in a more emphatic and visible manner. There are also new tools like inline editing made available in this new profile page design. As we know, LinkedIn added a lot more features recently like the facility to add skills and get endorsements from other LinkedIn members on various skills.
With this new page design coming into effect, users will be able to draw more insights on connections even those outside their network so that they can choose the right professionals to connect to for building up their professional network. In the new design, now users can see recent activities at the top of the page itself so that they can know what is happening latest with their contacts on the professional side.
There were more features which got added to this popular networking site like ‘Expert Advice’ and Notifications feature. As part of the Expert Advice feature, users can sign up for it and receive advices and musings from a strong 150 member panel including US President Barack Obama. Notifications feature will help to update users in real-time on the actions of their contacts like who viewed their profiles, who accepted their requests etc.
LinkedIn profile seems to be getting better and better, along with so many useful features, now it has a more elegant look too to create a huge impression in the people who visit the profile pages.
