Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 goes up for pre-order in India

 

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet earlier this month and said that it would start the shipping of the tablet globally by the end of the month. The Korean manufacturer seems to have kept its word by starting the pre-orders for the tablet.

Samsung has started accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 10.1 aka Galaxy Note 8000 on its official online store. The listing does not reveal an fixed price or release date, but interested users can pre-order the tablet by paying Rs 2,000 in advance, to get a coupon. The coupon will be mailed to the users and it is to be noted that this pre-order coupon is not refundable. Morevoer, Samsung will offer a free bookcover worth Rs 3,249.

Coming to the specifications of the Galaxy Note 10.1, it is an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich based tablet, which is equipped with a 1.4 GHz quad core Exynos processor. It sports a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The capacitive touchscreen display supports working with S Pen stylus and multitasking.

The tablet has a 5 MP rear camera, 1.9 MP front camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and HSPA+ connectivity features. The Android OS is topped with the TouchWIZ user interface of Samsung.

Moreover, the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available in three variants – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB along with a micro SD card slot. The pre-order listing in the Samsung eStore is for the 16 GB version and there is no information about when the others will be made available.
