Facebook and Instagram are back online in India after temporary outage

It seems that Facebook was down for everyone a few minutes away! Not just for the mobile users, even for PC users too, but it's up again and working fine now. Many users started tweeting about this #FacebokDown issue but the real reason for downtime is not yet confirmed.

At sharp 11:50 AM today, Facebook.com stopped loading and a message " Sorry, Something went wrong, We're working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can." started appearing on the screen.

If we go back or reload the page, it started showing, " The webpage is not available." In addition to that the world's most popular image sharing app - Instagram was also down at the same time.

Now everything is fine with the both sites, at exactly 12:40 PM (IST) both sites started loading like they used to be, but the fun part here is the tweets from the frustrated users. They're posting that is Facebook down just for them or for everyone, some companies started promoting this issue like' Facebook may be down but not our services" etc.

We guess the both sites are down due to server maintenance, the real reason is yet to be confirmed by the social media giant and the company's owned Instagram.
