Facebook: Salman Khan Dabangg 2 Exclusive First-Look Revealed on The Social Network

Riding on the popularity of the world’s largest social network, Arbaaz Khan Production, the producer of Salman Khan’s latest movie released the first teaser of Dabangg 2 exclusively on Salman Khan’s official Facebook page, reaching out to his strong community of 6.8 million fans, and the potential to reach out to fans globally.

This is also the first time Salman’s fans across the globe will get to see the preview of the sequel of Salman’s smash hit Dabangg and engage with him by asking questions, sharing their thoughts and feedback on the Facebook platform.

Salman says “There is a new generation following movie news on new media and so we launched the campaign on Facebook. We will continue to use traditional media. It’s not about one replacing the other. It’s one alongside the other.”

The official teaser of the movie can be watched at Facebook.com/BeingSalmanKhan on November 10, 2012 where users can get the first sneak view into the life of Chulbul Pandey: cop, lover and rebel.

The Dabangg actor joined Facebook only on September 14 this year and got over 2.6 million likes in less than 24 hours. It has since crossed 6.8 million fans making him the most favorite Facebook celebrity in India today.  This depicts the huge popularity of actor and the overwhelming desire for fans to connect with him which was made possible through Facebook. Salman’s Facebook page is one stop destination to connect, interact and engage with fans and also promote his upcoming movies though exclusive pictures, behind the scene videos and teasers. 

Dabangg 2 is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Dabangg. The film is directed by Arbaaz Khan and releases in theatres worldwide on December 21.
