World's biggest online social networking service Facebook in association with major news portals launched a program "Instant Articles" to provide rich news experience on May 13th this year. This Instant article provides user to access the articles on Facebook news feed without leaving the site.
Now, Zuckerberg's own company, has started rolling out its 'Instant Article' feature to the Android Smartphone users in India yesterday, while this feature has been available to iPhone users since October.

In an attempt to lure the publishers, the Facebook has offered lots of concessions to the other end, which made them impossible to say no. Some perks include Ad revenue deals, content exclusivity, loading speed of the article and others.
"This is a living page. This is a living, breathing article that is beyond just words," said Shezad Morani, creative director for NBCNews.com and aspiring mad scientist.
"Being able to watch a video seamlessly-I think it's actually really refined here and a beautiful experience," added Summer Anne Burton, editorial director for BuzzFeed Distributed, as the music crescendos.
"It's really going to solve the problem we've had with bringing pictures that work really well in the magazine environment to the phone," explained John Bennett, editor-in-chief and co-president of The Atlantic.

The publishers who collaborates with Facebook can display their content on the Facebook app directly.
This also allows the users to choose the content they want, and lets publishers to host the media rich content easily.
As per the algorithm used by Facebook, the articles will load faster than ever while you scroll your News Feed. Due to pre-loading the media features including pictures and videos pop up instantly when you tap the link.
Coming to India, FB has tied up with five publishers -- The Indian Express, India Today, The Quint, Aaj Tak and Hindustan Times.
Moving on to the features of Instant Articles, it comes with a easy-to-use multimedia features like autoplay videos that load seamlessly with the text, interactive maps that give you a helicopter view, rich photos with a tilt or pinch feature and etc.
