According to HeraldCorp, the new service will allow users to share their locations in real time and also comment on other people's locations. 'Uhssup' will also have messaging capabilities just like the one sen on Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp.

While previous reports showed that the company registered the name "Uhssup" with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, the HeraldCorp report indicates that Samsung has registered both 'Uhssup' and 'Samsung Social' in the domestic Korean market.

Additionally, in the official Samsung announcement of the Galaxy S9, the company has not only emphasized on improving the camera, but also to 'redefine the way you share your moment.' Perhaps, the new social networking service is what the company was hinting at.

Samsung is paving way for its other apps in its ecosystem like the Samsung Pay, Samsung Cloud and the Samsung Pass by integrating them with its devices. The company might be expecting the same response for its 'Uhssup' app from its users.
