WhatsApp Is Working on a 60-Second Video Notes Feature for iOS
It seems like WhatsApp has a whole bunch of features up its sleeve. As per the latest report, WhatsApp is currently working on a new feature in which users will be able to send 60-second long video messages to their family and friends.
The feature is said to be currently in development for iOS, but is likely to be rolled out to Android also soon.

The Video notes feature will be similar to the current Voice notes feature where users simply need to long press on the mic option and record their message. The video message will allow users to record their video by clicking on a similar camera button and sending their video to their selected contact.
The video notes feature already exists on Telegram, and is useful when users want to convey more personalized messages than say voice notes.
Similar to all of WhatsApp features, the Video notes feature too will be end-to-end encrypted, which means that no third party can view or access the data being shared, and it is secure between the sender and the receiver of the calls.
Furthermore, to add more security to the Video notes feature, WhatsApp will not allow the video note to either be forwarded or saved to other conversations. However, users will be allowed to take screenshots of the video.
There have been a host of features updated to WhatsApp of late. Video and Audio calls have been added to WhatsApp on Desktop.
WhatsApp claims calls made with the desktop version are faster than the one on phone. Additionally, the feature allows up to 8 users to be added on video calls, and up to 32 people on audio calls.
Not staying too far behind in the AI powered chatbot race, Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly said that the company too is planning to release an AI-powered chatbot integration into WhatsApp. Reports claim these features are already in development and will roll out to users in future updates.
