X (Twitter) Face Global Outage for the Third Time in a Day Leaving Users Frustrated

Social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, faced a second service disruption within a single day. By March 10, 2025, over 40,000 users reported issues accessing the platform. This outage affected users globally, including those in India, the US, the UK, Australia, and Canada. Both web and mobile app access were impacted.

Earlier on the same day, X experienced another outage around 3:20 PM IST. During this initial disruption, more than 19,000 global reports were logged. In India alone, there were 2,600 reports of service issues. These disruptions seem to follow a pattern of sporadic service failures.

Global Outage Impact

According to Downdetector data, the second outage peaked around 7:00 PM IST. This marked another significant disruption for the day. Among those affected, 56% encountered problems with the app itself. Meanwhile, 33% faced website access issues and 11% had server connection errors.

X has not provided any official explanation for these outages. Users continue to experience difficulties accessing services. However, some regions have reported partial restoration of functionality.

The recurring outages have left many users frustrated as they struggle to access their accounts. Despite widespread reports of service interruptions, X remains silent on the cause of these disruptions.
