Next WhatsApp Setting Update To Let You Disable Blue Check Marks
It's just been a day since WhatsApp pushed out its brand new update with the blue check marks, and already the feature has been a butt of all jokes. Not to mention that fact that thanks to the check marks, you can run but you can't hide.
While the new update has been pushed out for the betterment of the app overall, people concerning about their privacy haven't really taken well to the new introduction. However, the company is now seeking to make amends.
The company currently seems determined to address concerns of privacy invasion. And it plans on solving the issue by adding the option to disable the blue check marks in the application.
And as you may already know, WhatsApp introduced the blue check marks feature without giving users the option to choose whether or not they want it enabled on their smartphones. But the new update seems to eradicate all such issues.

Folks over at Myce have reported that one of WhatsApp's beta testers have confirmed that developers have already made the change happen in a beta version. Also that the feature is currently being tested.
"Whatsapp will soon get the ability to turn off the blue checkmark read indicator, according to an alleged Beta tester of the application. German Ihlan Pektas previously posted unannounced information on Whatsapp and today tweeted the application will get the possibility to disable the read indicator," the Myce post reads.
