Twitter app for iOS and Android has been updated to Version 5.7. With the new upgrade the microblogging social network has received some new features and a few design changes. The social network blog post claims that the new update should make the usage of the app much easier.

Lets take a look at the enhanced features:

Photos: When you add a photo to your Tweet, you will now be able to see the full preview of your photo, not just the cropped version. Twitter has also implemented a few design changes to make it easy to share photos from the camera roll. Now you can click on the photo icon on the bottom right corner of the Tweet box to share photos.

Accounts: When you compose a Tweet, you'll now be able to see your avatar and username, giving you a better sense of how your Tweet will actually appear. Also, It's easier to use multiple accounts now , as you can select the account you want to use by simply tapping on your avatar.

Location: Now you can add or remove your location from individual Tweets right from the Tweet box.

Timelines: Twitter has made design changes to timeline view to make it more wider and taller in all parts of the app including profiles, search and Discover. Borders around timelines have been removed for iOS users. These changes have already been implemented for the Android app.

Richer Notifications: Android users will now be able to see more details about their interactions on Twitter right on their Notifications Drawer. Users will able to see more details by swiping on the notification. Now both iOS and Android users get notifications, when a friend has joined Twitter.

Apart from these changes several bug fixes have been implemented for the ios app.
