As per latest reports, WhatsApp has started banning the WhatsApp Plus users due to their 'terms of service' violation. For those who are not aware, WhatsApp Plus is a third party app and have the same features of WhatsApp, but as per their terms of services users aren't allowed to use this third party app.

Today, many users started reporting that their WhatsApp account was banned for 24 hours.

Responding to the issue, Facebook owned WhatsApp has asked the existing WhatsApp Plus users to uninstall this third party app and replace it with a verified/original version of WhatsApp from official website or Google Play. In order to resume the services users must have to replace it with the authorized version.

Please be aware that WhatsApp Plus contains source code which WhatsApp cannot guarantee as safe and that your private information is potentially being passed to 3rd parties without your knowledge or authorization."

Please Note: Even after uninstalling or replacing the WhatsApp plus, the 24 hours ban is not removed and it exists for full duration.
