WhatsApp has banned users for using WhatsApp Plus
As per latest reports, WhatsApp has started banning the WhatsApp Plus users due to their 'terms of service' violation. For those who are not aware, WhatsApp Plus is a third party app and have the same features of WhatsApp, but as per their terms of services users aren't allowed to use this third party app.
Today, many users started reporting that their WhatsApp account was banned for 24 hours.
Responding to the issue, Facebook owned WhatsApp has asked the existing WhatsApp Plus users to uninstall this third party app and replace it with a verified/original version of WhatsApp from official website or Google Play. In order to resume the services users must have to replace it with the authorized version.
WhatsApp has also announced that this third party app is not a messaging service and it is using a code which doesn't comply with their terms. They are also not responsible for the leak of users' information while using WhatsApp plus. As per reports, WhatsApp Plus is treated to be a malware and users should uninstall it as early as possible.

WhatsApp mentioned the same thing in it's FAQ section stating, "WhatsApp Plus is an application that was not developed by WhatsApp, nor is it authorised by WhatsApp. The developers of WhatsApp Plus have no relationship to WhatsApp, and we do not support WhatsApp Plus. Please be aware that WhatsApp Plus contains source code which WhatsApp cannot guarantee as safe and that your private information is potentially being passed to 3rd parties without your knowledge or authorization."
Please Note: Even after uninstalling or replacing the WhatsApp plus, the 24 hours ban is not removed and it exists for full duration.
