Acer Announces Two Tablet with Intel Atom SoC, Android 5.0 under Iconia Series

Acer has announced two new tablet powered by an Intel Atom processor in the Indian market. Codenamed Iconia One 8 B1-820 and Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30, it comes with Zero Air Gap technology.

Also, the Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30 for Education, which will join the Google Education ecosystem features a 10.1-inch full HD screen

Both these tab displays comes with Acer Precision Plus technology which offers accurate touch and writing experience.

Acer Iconia One 8 B1-820 - Key Specifications

Acer Iconia One 8 B1-820, sports a 8-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, based on Zero Air Gap technology.

This device is clocked at 1.83 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor, along with 1GB RAM under the hood. Moreover, this slate has 16GB / 32GB internal memory, with an expansion option via microSD card slot.

Moving to the imaging factor, Iconia One 8 B1-820 flaunts a 5MP rear camera, with 88-degree wide angle lens, VGA camera on the front.

Shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop, it comes in a dimension of 9.5mm thickness and weighs around 355grams.. Further, it supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and powered by a battery which delivers up to 8.5 hours of battery life.

Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30, flaunts a 10.1-inch FHD IPS display with 1920 x 1200 pixels, based on Zero Air Gap technology and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

Morever, this slate clocked with 1.83 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor besides 2GB of RAM under the hood.

Further, on the internal storage, it comes with 16GB / 32GB / 64GB internal memory, with an expansion option via microSD card slot.

On the imaging factor, it sports a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera and shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop. It also comes with a dimension of 97.mm thickness and weighs around 540grams.

Connectivity options includes, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and comes with a battery which delivers up to 7.5 hours of battery life.

Coming to the price points, Acer Iconia One 8 B1-820 is available in 10 colors and will hit the market in North America in July starting from US$149 (approx Rs. 9,472), and in EMEA in April starting from 179 Euros (approx Rs. 12,388).

The Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30 will be available in North America starting from May with starting from US$299 (approx Rs. 18,999) and in the selected countries in EMEA in May starting from 299 Euros (approx Rs. 20,435).
