iPhone 5S rumor mill has supercharged into overdrive in past few months, with speculations flying around all around the web, about the successor launch soon in the mobile space. Amid the same, the latest rumors point at the launch of a new iPad model that would come equipped with double the amount of the memory space which is currently available in Appls iPads.
According to the latest 9to5Mac report, the Cupertino-based tech giant is working on an iPad which would boast the memory storage of whopping 128 gigabytes. The news has come following recent revelation of code in iOS 6.1 Beta 5 hinting at future 128 GB iOS devices.
Reportedly, the claimed future iPad has been informed to come as a separate SKU for the fourth-generation iPad with a Retina display, with no more details disclosure of other specs, pricing details or availability.
Just that, the expected tablet will land on retail shelves in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular two color variants including black and white, with no major changes to its build, look and feel.

The P101 and P103 names are Apple's internal nomenclature for the WiFi-only and Cellular-compatible fourth-generation iPads, respectively. Both of those models comes in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB configurations. These storage sizes are known as "GOOD," "BETTER," and "BEST," respectively. As you can see in our table above, Apple is preparing to release the additional "ULTIMATE" model. "ULTIMATE" frequently refers to the most premium or highest capacity model available. The "A" points to a black configuration, and "B" stands for the white option."
Besides, this Ultimate 128 GB iPad, Apple is also rumored to launch the iPad Mini successor - iPad Mini 2 with a Retina Display in the first half of 2013. Reports are also indicating that it will debut on the sidelines of the mysterious 128GB iPad sometime in October
According to a report by iLounge citing anonymous source, the iPad Mini 2 -- codename J85 -- will be launched in the market during October alongside a more powerful 9.7in iPad 5 model.
Meanwhile, the report was not able to provide much information on the specifications of the upcoming iPad Mini successor. It was only informed that the second version of the iPad Mini will boast the similar GZO display technology, reduced thickness, powerful processor and an all new look, compared to the predecessor.
