Asus Fonepad 7 Dual SIM Hands on Review: First Look
Asus Fonepad 7 Dual SIM- Software and Processor
The Fonepad 7 Dual SIM runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. The makers have slightly modified the UI to make it more intuitive. Asus says the Android 4.4 Kitkat for this very device will be out in June of this year.

The new tablet device is powered by a dual-core Intel Clover Trail+ Atom Z2520 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, alongside a 3910mAh Li-polymer battery.
There is an 8GB of on-board storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot. Plus you also get 16GB of web storage free with the device (limited for 1 year).

When we were handed the product, the Asus Fonepad 7 Dual SIM was a bit sluggish; though we reserve our final verdict for now.
Asus Fonepad Dual SIM- Camera
These days' people are using their tablets as cameras. The Fonepad 7 Dual SIM features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with Auto Focus and a missing LED Flash. The camera quality was far below our expectations. There's a 1.2MP front-facing camera added for your convenience. Nothing much to say as far as the rear-facing camera is concerned.

Asus Fonepad 7 Dual SIM- Early Verdict
The Fonepad 7 Dual SIM is priced on a lower side (Rs. 12,999), which also means that the company has passed on many important features. Yes, it's true the 7-inch tablet features a dual-SIM feature (both SIMs support 3G connectivity) but the build quality of the tablet should not be ignored. Asus will promote this tablet as a phone, since it supports 3G SIM connectivity.

If those are out of your price range the Asus Fonepad 7 Dual SIM could shape up to be a decent affordable tablet. At the same time, we'd recommend you to check out the original Nexus 7 (2012), if you get it at the same price range (Rs. 10,000 - Rs. 12,999).
