According to the FCC report, the upcoming tablet from Asus codenamed K009 will carry the model name "ME571KL". The model name of this new upcoming tablet ASUS ME571KL reminds us of an Asus FonePad recently launched by the similar model name ME371MG. The K009 device is based on a Qualcomm SoC and would be equipped with 4G Connection. Although the display size of the tablet is not known so far but the tablet which is powered by a 3.8V/15Wh and 4000 mAh battery, typically suggests that it could be a 7-inch tablet. Bluetooth SIG also came up with a new image of the tablet which shows the Asus K009 from the front, and specifies that the tablet actually comes with 7 inch display.

Reports also suggest that the tablet would come with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 megapixel front facing camera. The tablet uses the display produced by JDI (Japan Display Inc.) with code LT070ME05000. The device is equipped with a WiFi module Qualcomm Atheros WCN3660 (802.11n) and one of a WWAN modem (WCB3660) to connect 4G/LTE. ASUS ME571KL will be based on a quad-core processor qualcomm snapdragon APQ8064 and equipped with 32GB of memory. Among other technical features, there would be Bluetooth module and NFC technology. Other reports also say that the tablet would feature a 7 inch LED-backlit capacitive multitouch screen. It would be possibly powered by a 1.5GHz processor and a 4,000 mAh Li-ion battery.

If Asus is really planning to give a "Nexus touch" to the upcoming K009 tablet, it would be a great refreshment of the Nexus tablet, as this one will supposedly have a 5 MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front facing shooter which the previous Nexus 7 lacked. The Nexus fans will be really pleased to see it soon.
