Asus Transformer Book Trio: Android Tablet, Windows Notebook Hybrid Launched in India at Rs 98,099
Asus has become a major player in the tablet category and with its Google powered Nexus 7 devices it has already become to the ace amongst Android tablet makers. Now the company has launched their latest hybrid device called the Transformer Book Trio in the Indian market at a high end price category. The notebook will cost you Rs. 98,099.

The Transformer Book Trio which comes from a Taiwanese giant is a special one that can run on dual operating systems, viz. Windows 8 Pro and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
The hybrid notebook comes with a 11.6-inch 16:9 display offering a FHD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It runs on Windows 8 platform when it is used as a notebook. The PC Station dock is powered by a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor and has a keyboard. The dock also houses a 500GB hard drive and an extended battery.
However, if you choose to detach the screen and use it as a tablet, it will use the Android OS. Moreover, it will be powered by an Intel Atom Z2560 processor and can be also connected to an external display. The tablet features a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor and packs a 16GB of in-built storage. Thus it is not only a hybrid device in terms of hardware but also software.
