Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Tablet Getting Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Update
Asus has officially announced that it will be rolling out Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update to their hybrid tablet, Transformer Pad Infinity.
Taking a trip back to the past, Transformer Pad Infinity was first introduced in MWC 2012, running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device received the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, in the same year and now will be getting it's Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update. No bad at all!

The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the Transformer Pad Infinity is said to bring multiple user accounts, new launcher with two layout options, daydream function, new app locker layout, new virtual keyboard layout, lock screen wallpaper customization, parental lock and several other enhancements. The update is is to be rolled Over The Air (OTA).
The Transformer Pad Infinity comes with a display Qualcomm MSM 8260A Snapdragon S4 Krait Dual-core 1.5Ghz CPU, NVIDIA® Tegra 3 Quad-core T33 at 1.6GHz GPU, 10.1" WUXGA Full HD (1920 × 1200) LED Backlit screen with 10-finger multi-touch display, 8MP Auto-focus Rear w/LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, 1080p video recording and Front 2MP for video conferencing, 1 GB RAM, 32/64GB storage options, 8GB of ASUS WebStorage for life, Connectivity features including 3G, WIFI, GPS, Bluetooth and 25Wh battery. The Tablet however, has not arrived to India yet.
There is no information, as to which region would get the update first. Tech analysts say that Asus might be rolling out Android 4.2 updates to other tablets in the Transformer series in Q2 of this year.
