China Has Another Feather Under Its Kitty: An iPad Mini With Calling Facility

Apple iPad Mini costs Rs.21, 900 (16GB) in the Indian market. Undoubtedly, it is an expensive piece of technology. Indian grey markets like Palika Bazaar and Heera Panna are some of the places from where you can buy cheap knock-offs of Apple iPad Mini. But this news is rather interesting, as No. 1 mini iPad, a clone tablet, is set to arrive soon in the Chinese market.

GizChina reports the first look of the device. To an extent the makers behind No.1 mini iPad are trying to mingle calling functionalities in one package. Apple iPad Mini do offers 4G LTE /3G facilities, but you cannot call from the tablet. This year, Samsung has come up with the Galaxy Note 510, an 8-inch tablet with built in calling facility. As Chinese are good at mixing and matching duplicate products, the above mentioned tablet, is seriously a piece of craftsmanship.

No.1 mini iPad - Specifications and features

The No.mini iPad will have a built in 7-inch display with resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels, 1.2-Ghz quad -core MediaTek MT6589 processor, 2GB of RAM, 3G SIM tray, Apple lightning connector, a front facing camera, metal styled body ( of course , it will be made from complete plastic), and battery is still unknown. It is bit-by-bit similar to what Apple has done with iPad Mini. As of now, the price and release date is still not yet.

Apple India sells Wi-Fi only iPad Mini (16GB) for Rs.21, 900. The device comes with a 7.9-inch IPS LED display with a resolution of 1024 X 768 display , 512MB of RAM, 16GB/32/64GB of internal memory,A5 chipset, a 5-mega pixel rear camera and 1.2-mega pixel front facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and Dual Core 1Ghz Cortex-A9 processor and lastly long battery life.

Samsung Galaxy Note 510 - Specifications and features

The device which is a regular 8-inch quad core tablet doubles as mobile phone. The Samsung Galaxy Note 510 measures around 338 grams and comes with an 8-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (720p HD) at 189ppi. Inside the device, you have 1.6-GHz quad core processor (Exynos 4412), Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 2GB of RAM, and expandable storage.
