Dell's New Venue 7 and Venue 8 KitKat Powered Tablets Now Available in India
Unveiled back in June this year, popular laptop maker Dell has not made its latest tablet devices - the Venue 7 and Venue 8 available in India. The device can be bought form the company's official site. Dell is offering the two devices in both WiFi and 3G variants. The 3G variants have voice calling capabilities as well.

Talking about the pricing, the WiFi variant of the New Dell Venue 7 would cost you Rs. 11,999, and the 3G variant is priced at Rs. 14,999.
On the other hand, the WiFi variant of the New Dell Venue 8 costs Rs. 15,999, and the 3G variant costs Rs. 18,999.
New Dell Venue 7: Key Specifications
The New Dell Venue 7 tablet sports a 7-inch (1280×800 pixels) HD capacitive multi-touch IPS Display. It comes powered by Intel Atom processor Z3460 (up to 1.6GHz Dual-Core) coupled with 1GB of RAM. The slate runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS.
In the camera segment, the new offering from Dell employs a 5MP rear shooter and at the front, users will get to see 1MP front facing snapper.
Internal storage seats at 16GB and it is further expandable up to 64GB via micro SD card. Connectivity options include 3G (Optional), WiFi,Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The tablet that measures 8.95mm thick and weighs at 290g is powered by a 4550 mAh battery.
New Dell Venue 8: Key Specifications
The New Dell Venue 8 on the other hand comes with an 8-inch FHD (WXGA 1920 x 1200 pixels) capacitive multi-touch IPS Display. Powering the device is the same Intel Atom processor, but this one would be clocked up to 2.1GHz (Dual-Core) coupled with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android KitKat OS.
Imaging department is taken care by a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing snapper. It houses 16GB inbuilt memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via micro SD card.
Connectivity options also remain the same with the inclusion of 3G (Optional), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The 8.95mm thick tablet draws its energy from a 4550 mAh battery.
Both these devices have Waves MAXXAudio Pro audio technology for a premium audio experience.
One of the interesting thing that you should know is that Dell is also offering gifts worth Rs. 5,000 with the purchase of the tablets. The gifts include Bluetooth headset and a power bank and the offers are valid until 26th October 2014.
