Flipkart To Launch First-Ever Tablet on June 26
After a successful partnership with Motorola, which got Flipkart a great deal of experience in making devices more exclusive, the latter is now all set to unveil its latest tablet device in the native market. Flipkart is in fact following the footsteps of Amazon which also has its own range of Kindle tablets. Anyways, Flipkart has already started sending out invites for the launch of the same product.
Moreover, making the entire process more interesting, Flipkart has sent a bottle filled with tablets as an invitation. The bottle has a Flipkart's logo on it. The day we are waiting for would be June 26th.

Talking about the tablet, if you are not aware, the company will be using the DigiFlip brand for mass production of the tablet. If you are not aware, DigiFlip is the company's in-house brand under which it makes and comprises of products like computer mice, laptop accessories, headphones and speakers. The company is said to use the chipset from MediaTek, as they were earlier reported to have partnered. However, other details about the tablet device is not out yet.

If the price of the table is bothering you so much, don't worry since we might be talking about the device which will cost not more than Rs 10,000.
Tablet market is pretty much on the positive side of the graph, and to go by figures, according to IDC report, about 4.14 million tablets were shipped to India last year. Samsung was on the top position by vendor. With the launch of the tablet from Flipkart, many Indian tablet makers like Micromax, Swipe, BSNL and others will be directly or indirectly affected.
