Is This The Sequel To Famed Google Nexus 7 ?
The Nexus 7 proved to be a great success for both Google and its trusted OEM partner Asus. It not only changed Apple's perception towards 7-inch tablets, but also uplifted Android, as a perfect platform to reckon with. Its successor was expected to be announced at Google I/O 2013.
From specifications to revamp design, everything was reveled long time back. Despite that Google didn't announce the much hyped device. It was rather surprising and a bit ironical too. Instead the Software went ahead with an unexpected device - Samsung Galaxy S4 Nexus Edition. It would be safe to say that Google wanted to show off the next-version of Nexus 7, and for that matter they managed to create ripples.

PhoneArena reports that a mysterious Nexus 7 like looking tablet made a rare appearance during a session on audio performance. The device could be the sequel to Nexus 7, as per the report. The new model may have curved edges instead of being straight. Even the shinny bezel found in the current model is gone now. This is what is known about the much improved Nexus 7. It is being said that the device is slated to be announced sometime in the end of June or July first week with Android 4.3. T
These days every manufacture chooses to announce a second generation in the span of 1 year. It won't be surprising to see a brand new updated Nexus 7 in the coming days. Being priced at Rs.15, 999 in the Indian market, the Nexus 7 trounced many tablets available at same price bracket. The upcoming Nexus 7 will be better equipped in handling heavy games.
It would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro Quad -core processor. Many reports in the recent days have indicated that the display size would remain the same, but instead of 720p screen - expect Full HD display. The original Nexus 7 had 1GB of RAM, so it would be logical to add 2GB of RAM built in. Stay tuned to GizBot.
