HCL ME Y3, ME V1 and ME U2 Launched: Specs, Price, Availability and More
Owing to the success of the reasonably priced tablets, Noida based tech manufacturer HCL seems to be constantly scorching the market more and more tablets in an attempt to acquire a significant share of the every-growing market.
Recently, a couple of tablets made by HCL - ME V1 and ME Y3 were available online for pre-order and now, the company has launched them officially in the market today. Alongside these tablets, the native manufacturer has also come up with ME U2, another tablets with Android ICS platform.
Of the trio launched, ME Y3 is a dual SIM tablet supporting voice calling feature. Moreover, it carries the credit of being the first dual SIM tablet of HCL.

HCL ME Y3
Being a dual SIM tablet, ME Y3 comes packed with a 7 inch capacitive multi-touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GHz Cortex A9 processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card supporting up to 32GB, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich platform, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3,100 mAh battery. The tablet is priced at Rs 11,999. The tablet supports HCL ME App Store and not Google Play Store.
HCL ME V1
HCL ME V1 boasts a 7 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, Android OS 4.0.4 ICS, 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card slot, Wi-Fi, 3G through dongle and a 3,200 mAh battery. HCL has priced ME V1 at Rs 7,999. Moreover, the tablet comes with a 2G SIM slot for voice calling. Like ME Y3, the tablet supports HCL ME App Store and not Google Play Store.
HCL ME U2
ME U2 is not a voice calling tablet like the other two offerings. But ME U2 comes with a 7-inch WVGA display, 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor with Mali-400 GPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory, microSD card slot. VGA front camera and a 3,000 mAh battery. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich ME U2 is priced at Rs 6,999 and supports only Google Play Store.
