Now you have learnt about its internal specifications, we can share our experience with the device. Quite honestly, we are not carried away by the experience. First of all, the device seems slow, really slow. Although we couldn't play any game on the device, but we felt that device had become unusable after 15 minutes of continues use. Even though the Slate 6 comes with a stock version of Android; still the lag is visible when you open multiple apps or its camera possibly at a same time. The Slate 6 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean of the box.

HP Slate 6 VoiceTab: Camera

They say a compelling camera can change your prospective. Well, in case of Slate 6, the camera failed to impress us. The 5MP rear-facing camera can take decent images in proper light. We tried to take some close up shots using Slate 6's 5MP camera. To be honest, HP could have done much better in the imaging department. Neither the camera UI has been customized nor we get to see any special apps for imaging pre-loaded. Users will be able to record videos in 720p HD format, but what about full HD 1080p videos. There's a 2MP front-facing camera given on the front.

HP Slate 6 VoiceTab: Battery

The Slate 6 offers a huge battery (3,000mAh) fitted inside. HP claims the device will last a day on 3G connection. Whether the device would be able to last a day can only be seen when we test the device.

HP Slate 6 VoiceTab: Conclusion

Now you might be wondering whether one should go for Google Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi only) or get the latest HP Slate 6 VoiceTab (3G plus Wi-Fi plus voice-calling support). We're will be reviewing the HP Slate 6 soon, but in the meanwhile, it would be unfair to give our take on the device. Like any product, the Slate 6 is not a perfect device. Priced at Rs. 22,990, the Slate 6 will be an expensive toy, for sure.
