Huawei Launches Honor Tablet With 8-Inch Display, Android KitKat and More

Huawei is yet to launch its new Honor 6 smartphone in India today and in the Malaysian market, the company has already launched its new Android-based tablet. Dubbed as Honor Tablet, Huawei has launched it at the price of 599 Malaysian Ringgits (Approx. Rs. 11,234). Pre-orders will start beginning 29th September at RM599 through Vmall.my.

Anyways, talking about the specs, the new Honor tablet comes with an 8-inch HD IPS display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor couped with 1GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 4.3 with Emotion UI 1.6 layered on top.

The tablet also comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD card. Imaging aspect of the tablet is taken care by a 5MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front facing snapper. In addition, Huawei has included 3G, voice-calling support, Wi-Fi, and GPS on the tablet. The Honor Tablet has a metal alloy unibody design and it is slender at only 7.9mm thick. With a 4,800mAh capacity battery on-board, it weighs 360g.

The smartphone packs 5-inch full HD display, 1.7GHz octa-core Hi-Silicon Kirin 920 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and microSD card slot. The phone also comes with 3100mAh battery, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
