Computer peripherals and tablet maker iBall has sent out a press release to Indian madia claiming that the company has attained market leadership in the tablets category for the period of April - July 2014.
In the race, iBall was followed by multinational brands like Samsung and Apple.
According to the company, "iBall has gained market share of 17.1%, beating Samsung with 15.5% and Apple with 11.5%." Further the release also sheds light on the company's turnover during FY 2013-14 which precisely is Rs. 900 Crores.
As per Mr. Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director - iBall "From the time we launched iBall Tablet PCs, we were always eyeing market leadership, just like we are leaders in many computer peripherals and digital life-style products like Cabinets, Mouse, Web Cameras and Speakers".
iBall has been promoting many categories and has grown from strength to strength over the last decade.

According to the company, iBall Slide has reached over 800 towns with 650 direct channel partners and 3200 indirect channel partners serving thousands of outlets across the country. Moreover, the Slide tablet is not only available in Multi Brand Outlets and Large Format Stores, it is also widely accepted in the corporate sector due to its features and performance.
