iBerry Auxus Core X2, X4 Pre-order Begins: Get Quad Core Processor, 2GB RAM Tablet at Rs 15,990

iBerry India, a Chennai based tech manufacturer with a few tablet launches in 2012 seems to be in full swing to compete with the other tablet vendors in the country.

The company has announced the prebooking of its first performance oriented tablets in the Auxus Core lineup. The new tablets - Auxus Core X2 3G and Auxus Core X4 3G are up for pre-order for Rs 10,990 and Rs 15,990 on the company's website.

The specifications of the new iBerry tablets are listed below. Have a look at it.

Dimensions and Weight: Auxus Core X2 3G carries a dimension of 197.5 x 123 x 9.6 mm in dimension and weighs in at 312 grams, whereas X4 3G comes with a dimension of 246 x 197 x 11 mm and a weigh of around 612 grams.

Display: When it comes to display, Auxus Core X2 sports a 7 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and Auxus Core X4 has a 9.7 inch IPS display with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution.

Processor: As the name indicates, X2 is powered by a 1.6GHz dual core ARM Cortex A9 processor and X4 has a 1.6GHz quad core ARM processor with Exynos 4412 chipset.

OS: According to the listing, X2 is based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, whereas, X4 is flavored with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Camera: Both the tablets sport a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera for video calling.

Storage: In this segment, X2 has 8GB internal storage and 2GB RAM and X4 comes with 16GB internal storage accompanied with 1GB RAM. However, both the tablets have a micro SD card slot supporting up to 64GB expandable storage.

Connectivity: Both the devices have SIM slot supporting 3G and voice calling features and also come packed with features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI and micro USB 2.0.

Battery: While the battery spec of Auxus Core X2 is not known, the one in Auxus Core X4 is 7,200 mAh.

Price & Availability

iBerry has announced the prebooking of the two new tablets at Rs 10,990 and Rs 15,990 respectively. Further, the devices will be available through the online retail networks in India.
