iberry Launches Auxus Xenea X1 Smartphone and Octa-Core Auxus CoreX8 3G Tablet
Hong Kong based iberry who has already been selling its devices in India has recently announced to 2 new smart devices which will be available in India within this month. However, the devices include a smartphone called Auxus Xenea X1 and a tablet named Auxus CoreX8 3G. These devices are priced at Rs. 11,990 and Rs. 23,990 respectively. The pre-booking is said to begin from January 10th 2014 from company's official website and eBay.
The iberry Auxus Xenea X1 is a Music Edition handset which will come bundled with a headset. But the smartphone is quite regular when it is compared to the tablet which comes powered by an octa core processor. To be particular, the tablet uses Samsung Exynos 5410 processor with Tri-core PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. This is the first tablet to come with such octa core CPU.
Going by the individual specs, the Auxus Xenea X1 smartphone comes with a 4.5-inch (540 x 960 pixels) qHD IPS display.

It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali-400 GPU coupled with 1GB RAM. The handset runs on Android 4.2.2 (Upgradeable to higher versions via OTA).
Imaging will be handled by an 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash (capable of shooting video at Full HD quality). Also add a 2MP front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling.
It houses 4GB of internal storage which is also expandable. Connectivity options remain regular with 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. Additionally, the handset also supports Dual SIM with one micro-SIM and the other regular SIM.
The device is powered by 2200 mAh Li-ion battery.
On the other hand, the Auxus CoreX8 3G tablet comes with a 7.85-inch HD multi-touch display. It is powered by 1.6 GHz + 1.2 GHz Samsung Exynos 5410 processor with Tri-core PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) and is upgradeable via OTA updates.
The tablet also packs 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and 2MP front-facing camera as well. It houses 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD.
The first octa core tablet uses several connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The iberry Auxus CoreX8 tablet also features a switchable 3G Module that would let you remove the 3G module easily. The tablet is a voice-calling tablet which comes with a SIM support.
The slate draws its energy from a 4800 mAh battery.
