Is it a competitor to Google Nexus 10?
As far as the Indian market is concerned, there are no 10 inch tablets with Android Jelly Bean operating system. However, Google Nexus 10, which is yet to be officially released into the market is based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and hence, it comes with additional features including Gesture Typing, Miracast, DayDream, PhotoSphere and more.
As far as specs are concerned, Nexus 10 features a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1560 x 1600 pixels and 300 ppi pixel density. Also, Nexus 10 houses a 1.7GHz A15 dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 16GB and 32GB internal storage options, 2GB RAM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB, micro HDMI, dual side NFC, GPS+Glonass connectivity features and and a 9,000 mAh Li-ion battery offering up to 9 hours video playback and 500 hours standby.
Analyzing the specs, Nexus 10 could be a better option with a remarkable pixel density, faster processor, better camera performance, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Bluetooth, NFC and powerful battery. The tablet is available for pre-order from several online retailers for a price starting from Rs 31,000.
However, as the Indian consumer base are price conscious, the Karbonn offering with a price tag of Rs 10,280 cold be a better choice.
