Lava Launches Xtron Z704 Tablet With Android KitKat at Rs 6,499
Lava has today officially launched its new tablet - the Xtron Z704 that falls in the company's range of Xtron tablets. The company offers the tablet is white color at an affordable price of Rs. 6,499.

Indian tablet market is pretty much occupied with a plethora of budget friendly ones rather than the high-end models. Devices from local manufacturers like Micromax, Karbonn, BSNL, iBall and even Lava have been milking the low-end tablet market heavily. However, in the mid-range category, there is a strong presence of Nexus, Asus, and Samsung.

Lava Xtron Z704: Key Specifications
The Lava Xtron Z704 sports a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek 8127 processor with Mali-450 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The sale runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.
The tablet features a 2MP rear camera with a 0.3 MP (VGA) front-facing snapper.
The Lava Xtron Z704 uses several connectivity options like 2G EDGE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, GPS. However, it lacks one of the most important aspect - the support for 3G network.
It houses 16GB internal memory, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The tablet which measures 188.4mm x 108mm x 10.7mm in dimension and weighs 320 grams draws its energy from a 4000 mAh battery.
The company has not mentioned whether the device comes with a cellular capability or not.
