Exclusive: Lava 7-Inch Jelly Bean Tablet Coming Next Week While Xolo X500 Handset Coming in February
Lava Mobiles seems to be on an aggressive launch spree after all the success the company has gathered last year through its Xolo series devices.
Already, Lava has launched 3 devices including Xolo A500, Iris 501, eTab Z7H+ in the first month of 2013, and now the tech manufacturer plans to launch two more devices by the first half of February 2013.
Amid the reports swirling in the Indian tech world, thanks to the folks at NDTV Gadgets, that Lava is planning to launch a smartphone dubbed as Xolo X500 next month, there is one more news which would add spice to the circulating rumor. Just now, Gizbot has learnt while talking to the company's spokesperson that the NCR-based tech consumer goods vendor is all set to release a new tablet, as soon as next week.
The official source further revealed that the tablet has been confirmed to come running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a 1.5GHz dual core processor. Adding on, he also disclosed that it will be priced reasonably and will boast beefed up specs as compared to the other offerings currently available in the tablet market.
Meanwhile, coming to the Xolo X500 smartphone, which is claimed to be powered by Intel Atom Lexington chip, reportedly the specs would also include 3.5-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 320, 1.2GHz Intel Atom Lexington processor with Hyper-Threading Technology, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card, 5MP rear camera and a 1,500mAh battery. However, Xolo X500 will come flavoured by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS (the old version), yet will come with the support of Dual SIM technology. Adding on, the report claims that the handset will be priced at Rs 8,999.
